Israel (IL) – Cadenza all-weather pianos
December 31, 2021
Thomas Edison tried it (1881), then an Ontario family did (2009), but this company in Isreal claims to have cracked the code, inventing an all-weather grand-piano built in concrete/cement with all kinds of sophisticated technology in it. Inside its concrete shell, specialists have engineered complex systems to balance sound, amplify the music and monitor and control the piano’s settings by remote control. How cool’s that?!
So far, 16 pianos have been placed throughout Israel, Here’s a map:
- Jerusalem Central Bus Station
- Jerusalem Kikar Safra
- Jerusalem Talpiot
- Jerusalem Zion Square
- Kfar Saba
- Rishon LeZion
- Sapir College Yakhini
- Tel Aviv
We look forward to playing our first concrete piano 🙂 Until then, stay safe, stay healthy and enjoy playing the Israël pianos!
