We’re on our way down from playing Play Me I’m Yours 3rd edition in Augsburg Germany. Sadly but truly, that brings our season of playing street piano Events 2019 to an end. More importantly, it’s the last multi-piano Event – we’re aware of – on the northern hemisphere, in fact in the entire world…
No worries mate, plenty left to play! 🙂
Now before some of you might point at numerous pianos on continuous display (some sites reflect to them as “permanent”), you’ll find them here and if not, thanks for dropping us a line for tips or recommendations!
Reflecting on 2019
It’s been a great summer of playing with numerous highlights, new Venues and familiar places. Some of our Piano Pilgrim Sisters already shared some of their’s. As for myself, I’ve been privileged to play multi-piano Events in Canary Wharf (UK), London (UK), New York (US), Karlsruhe (DE), Ghent (BE) and Augsburg (DE) this year, next to quite a few airport-, railway stations- and hospital pianos.
To all the wonderful organizations that make these Events happen: Thank you for the music!
Looking ahead at 2020
Calendar for next year is looking jam-packed with all annual Event Organizers planning for their next edition in 2020. We’ve haven’t posted most of these Events yet, but will get back to you soonest.
As mentioned in our introduction, we need to find those pianos first before we can actually play them. For me as one of our site Admins, a few things need to be done upon finding new Venues, Organizing Labels or Events. I know there’s a significant backlog of new content that needs our attention. So for all Events / Continuous display pianos that didn’t get our attention quite yet: We’ll be happily spending our time on your initiatives during winter hibernation 2019 – 2020!
Stay safe, enjoy playing!
